Time slides down with morning's
Shadow on the wall, enfolding endings.
Virginia's light stitches white bedsheets
With fine gold wire, unsocial to my reach.
Walls flow down with time.
Morning light liquefies a dime,
Glides infallibly forward,
Disdainful of my labored
Toil to nail it down.
As I go searching for a noun
Time slides down with morning's
Shadow on the wall, portending endings.
